Andrew SageAndrew Sage After several years of creating computer graphics, 3D images & animations, Andrew has only recently begun to experiment with paint. He is gradually finding his own style and learning more about paint. So far he has mostly used oil, but is keen to experiment with other media.
John FitzgeraldJohn Fitzgerald John has been painting ancient trees for more than twenty years and has developed his own unique style of painting. The detailed studies are done on site, sometimes over a period of several years. Close attention is given to light, colour and tone.
Martin BashfordMartin Bashford lives in Sussex and enjoys painting landscapes and wildlife. He uses acrylic paints and very fine brushes resulting in highly detailed works of art. He has spent four years travelling the world, mainly Asia, capturing scenes many people only dream of seeing. Recent finalist in the Daily Mails "Not the Turner Prize" competition with his painting 'Bay of Ghosts'.
Nick HawksworthNick Hawksworth Nick studied art to A Level standard at school, in recent years at Llanover Hall, Cowbridge Comminity College and was taught by Arthur Phillips (Adelaide). Most of his work is in private collection, and Adam Gallery, Penarth. He specialises in watercolour landscapes. In his spare time Nick works as an eye surgeon.
Terry CoppingTerry Copping Terry is a professional artist whose work has been exhibited in prestigious galleries in the UK and Overseas. His work is mainly commissioned portraiture and landscapes. He was recently awarded first prize in an international pastel portrait competition which led him to being featured on a BBC Arts programme.
Sophie HarrisSophie Harris Always using basic drawing skills and atmospheric colour mixing, Sophie uses a variety of mixed media, reaching beyond pure represenation searching for the mood of the subject, looking for an imaginative result. She finds inspiration from the beauty of the Devon landscape, of France, Italy and Spain.
Des O'MurchuDes O'Murchu Studied art during his school years, won prizes including the Texaco Child Art 1963. Des returned to art after being involved with transport and related engineering which in turn lead to an interest in transport photgraphy. Des' art mostly evolved during periods of unemployment where he discovered old stored material to be of value.
Shelagh MayShelagh May Shelagh is a Sussex-based artist whose photo realist oil paintings depict a strange silent world in which time stands still. She recently had a sucessful one woman show at George Street Gallery, Brighton.
Mark JonesMark Jones Marks unique landscapes depict graphic images of mostly ancient Greek and Roman architecture. His thick layers of paint giving an an atmospheric feel to a grand subject.
Anya LauchlanAnya Lauchlan MA Fine Art & Illustration. Trained by M.Khazanov, a student of Marc Chagall. "Painting at its best is poetry on canvas - feelings passed on by the artist to others. A beautiful language - as cheerful or sad as life itself".
Giuliana LazzeriniGiuliana Lazzerini Giuliana was born in Tuscany, Italy. She studied painting at the Accademia Di Belle Arti Di Carrara, Tuscany. She now works and lives in England. The Tuscan Landscape and childwood memories bear a strong influence on her work, as colour conveys emotion to her subjects. She exhibits widely and has won numerous awards.
Owen Neil Lygo-BakerOwen Neil Lygo-Baker Owen was born in 1940 in Warsop, Notts. He is aminly self taught with some help from the Hitchins family and friends at Greenleaves West Sussex. Was the Contempory Art Societies 'Young Painter of the Year' in 1966 along with Liz Frank DBE. Has exhibited in Liverpool, Southport, Bradford Chelsea and Tate. mainly paints Landscapes in oil and acrylic.
Ken MayhewKen Mayhew Interest grew in Kens work after one of his original paintings was bought by Mrs R. MacDonell, a public relations consultant in London. He then began to exhibit at the Royal Academy. Many prints and paintings are now in private hands throughout Britain, Sweden, Holland and South Africa.
Maureen MooreMaureen Moore Maureen attended Leeds College of Art. Her first love is land and seascapes. She has had several 'one woman' shows. Since 1997 has often been successfull with the Singer / Friedlander and Laing exhibitions at the Mall Galleries, London. She works from her studio at Mill Bank in Pennine, Yorkshire.
Ian RollsIan Rolls Ian studied Fine Art at Covenrty College of Art and has exhibited widely in joint and solo shows. He has travelled extensively and earlier this year held a one-man show in India, a country and culture that ave strongly influenced his life. Aswell as numerous other exhibitions Ian has also appeared on Channel 4's Watercolour Challenge.
Margaret RoseMargaret Rose Margaret is a freelance artist who works from her West Sussex studio. She has travelled extensively in the Veneto and her deep love of Venice is apparent in her atmospheric Venetian Landscapes. Margaret works mainly in pastel and her paintings are currently being reatured in galleries in Arundel and Chichester.
Janet StantonJanet Stanton Janet is studying Fine Art and is now exhibiting and selling her work. 'Golden Fields' was inspired from a local view and expresses her fascination with the landscape. She works with bold vibrant colours and hopes to of captured the essence of a summers day!
